I loved: *the warm welcome/goodbye from staff the moment I arrived/left, and their friendly service throughout my stay - a special thank you to the general manager David, the chef Adrian, the F&B manager Sonam and his team, for taking care of me while I experienced elevation sickness; *the special meditation session with the general manager David and his friend, a monk from the nearby Shedra; *my big room with its comfortable bed, bathtub overlooking the valley, wood fireplace and lounge area - a special thank you to the housekeeping team for always ensuring that my room was clean, cozy and charming throughout my stay; *the hot bath and massage, particularly the free five-minute massage when I arrived; *the breakfasts and dinners at the main dining room, and the snack given when I left; *the quaint library and games, particularly free archery whenever you like; *the free laundry offered, snacks in-room, ginger tea and stoked fireplace whenever I wanted. I immensely enjoyed my short two-night stay at Gangtey Lodge - a memorable, special and elegant place.
